World Oral Health Day is celebrated internationally on 20 March 2025 with World Oral Health Month being celebrated on a national basis by oral health professionals and endorsed by the National Department of Health in September 2025.
The celebrations are a culmination of dedication within the profession, raising national awareness of the prevention measures available and creating an understanding regarding oral disease.
SADA fully endorses the celebration of World Oral Health Day globally, working closely with the FDI, and continues with the celebration in September nationally, working closely with the National Department of Health to support and endorse all programmes of oral health.
