Our Head of Legal and Corporate Services provides dento-legal, ethical and contractual advice to the profession and to individual members.
SADA champions the ethical practice of dentistry, based on the principles of human and consumer rights and informed consent.
In the interests of serving both the profession and the public, SADA facilitates a Dental Mediation Service (previously known as the Dental Ombudsman), the aim of which is to provide an independent mechanism to facilitate the resolution of disputes.
SADA is the preferred administrative co-ordinator for Dental Protection Limited (DPL) in South Africa.
Over and above the usual services expected from SADA, we are always on the lookout for and negotiate regarding offers which will be of exclusive benefit to SADA members.

The eleven branches of SADA spread throughout South Africa provide an excellent base for meeting, debating, learning, teaching, and, not least, socialising with peers.

SADA is represented on and participates in policy decisions of the Federation Dentaire Internationale (FDI) and the African Regional Organisation (ARO).
SADA educates and informs the public about oral health whilst promoting and marketing dentistry.

Assistance is given to members and their family who may have fallen on hard times, via the Benevolent Fund.
